Maceo “Tendaji” Lester is a filmmaker based in Baltimore, MD. His work ranges from music videos, narrative film, documentaries and wedding videography. Lester received his BA in Mass Communications at Virginia State University. Years later he enrolled at the Maryland Institute College of Art where he received his MFA in Film. His love of music, sports and African-American culture are very prevalent in his work. His work has screened and won awards at several film festivals across the nation and internationally. Lester aspires to tell authentic stories that will make a substantial impact in race/gender equity and help cultivate storytellers of the next generation.
Maceo "Tendaji" Lester
Bree "McCoy" Crosland is a Producer/Director from Baltimore, MD. Bree graduated from Sheffield Institute, where she discovered her passion for film. Her journey began behind the camera shooting everything from BTS Coverage to Wedding Cinematography. She eventually fell into the lane of Producing/Directing after working within the Documentary space and Producing her own project SELFHOOD, which focuses on Mental Health. Bree looks forward to challenging herself as an aspiring Filmmaker, and Commercial Producer and taking her passions to many levels.
Akilah Divine is a multi-disciplinary artist; singer, spoken word artist, rapper, and actress who was born and raised in Baltimore,MD. She graduated from Delaware State University earning her master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), and two Bachelor of Science Degrees: Social Work and Mass Communications. She has been featured in many publications, a few being: The Afro, Hot 97, Grid Magazine, Baltimore Times, and A&R Factory. Her hit single “TRIBE” was accepted as Official Selection in 14 film festivals and won four best music video awards. She has opened up for grammy-nominated singer Maimouna (Mumu Fresh) Youssef, performed at the largest all female digital festival known as “The Ladybug Festival,”and won the “HOT97 Who’s Next” heat of the week competition. Akilah has been featured on Free Tuition , a Snapchat series that is focused on education and entertainment for passionate, poetic, and inspirational conversations with special guests about justice, equality, and change.
Alexander Hull is a production assistant based in Maryland. He graduated from Towson University with a bachelor's degree in "Electronic Media and Film." Alexander has broad experience working in the area of film and media as an AV technician for Diamond Select Toys. He has also served as an assistant director, cinematographer, and editor for Charm City Media from 2015 to 2019.
In 2021, Alexander's short film titled "Hawaii, The Sights of O'ahu" was selected by a juror and displayed at the AACC juried student exhibition. His resume in this field includes filming weddings, sporting events, concerts, and extensive experience working with green screens and editing.
With a passion for film and photography, Alexander eagerly awaits the opportunity to connect with exciting new projects.
